Richard J Hempel, MD

Dr. Hempel is a kind, diligent, and resourceful doctor. He spends as much time as needed with a patient. I regularly schedule same day appointments. Also, he is always on call to answer urgent questions. Through a series of unfortunate events I have had to contact him on the weekend. He answers immediately and helps to resolve whatever pressing health issue. In addition his staff is delightful and very welcoming.

Dr. Hemple is very respectful of the elderly. He pushes for treatments that make sense, and for the comfort of the patient, which is so very important for the elderly.

Great office with great clinicians and staff. All electronic which makes the patient portal especially useful for me.

Dr. Hempel has an exceptional educational background and could undoubtedly work anywhere in the country! Yet, he chose to stay with us in a small family clinic here in Danville...I couldn't offer a better example of his skill as a care provider. Just as friendly on the street as in the office, known throughout town as the "well-above-average" average Joe!
