Dr. Richard Alan Higgins, MD

I was looking for a doctor in the area, and was lucky enough to find Dr. Higgins. He has a calm demeanor, and makes me feel very comfortable. I feel as though I can speak about any medical issue with him. The doctor has helped me through several difficult medical situations. I'm thankful I found him.

Very understanding, easy to commicate with, covers all the key points of your visit

During my annual physical first time in my life I met a doctor who won't bother to check my heart bit, did not check my trout, ears etc. Did not check my longs - did not use stethoscope at all. I felt like he really doesn't care about my health. I guess I was just the number of the day he needs to see. I consider to change my doctor.

Dr. Higgins has listened to my concerns thru the years and has always been there when I needed a professional shoulder for support. I was referred by Dr. Higgins to a specialist when I had cancer. Every- thing turned out well for me and the other doctor was very good. But.... it was Dr. Higgins who called me at home to see how I was coming along even though he was being copied on all tests and my surgery. That's what I call a caring person and "my" doctor.

Dr. Higgins has been my primary care doc for approx 20 years. he has always taken the time and been thorough and pro-active in my health care. The other specialists that he has referred me to have also been of the highest caliber.

Doctor has a matter of fact attitude...no real connection..not warm and friendly. I have been diagnosed with condition going on 3 months now....and NOT ONE phone call for follow up...Even my dentist follows up on me for a teeth cleaning!!...I didn't get all prescriptions when first diagnosed...I had to call and ask for them after I found out I should get them. I feel like your life is very unimportant...and your just another number. I'm switching my primary care doctor so I can be around a team that cares...
