Dr. Richard Thomas Holt, MD

Dr. Holt did an operation on my spine when I was 14. I had a major spinal fusion and he did a wonderful job and saved me from so much pain!

Best surgeon God could have given me - I am now 48 and he did my surgery when I was 13 - I was blessed and I am thankful for him...

1. had to wait 30 mins and I was his first patient. 2. He didn't know how to turn on his computer. - Blamed it on his assistant. 3. Didn't take the time to read my past paperwork and made me explain every piece to him. 4. VERY BAD BEDSIDE MANNER!!! He told me to "Let the men do the math." & spoke poorly about women losing baby weight. I'm not even overweight. 5. He didn't conduct any exams on me. He made me pay $95 to schedule an MRI with another location. I DO NOT SUGGEST WASTING YOUR TIME SEEING HIM. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW HE'S EVEN AN MD?

Dr. Holt has performed 2 surgeries on me a laminectomy and a discectomy and fusion on c6 7, I had no pain the very next day with my fusion and less pain with the laminectomy than before the surgery, I have degenerative disc disease if I ever need another spine surgery it will be Dr. Holt again Thank You Dr. Holt

Had a 48 degree curve before surgery and after surgery have a 48 degree curve plus the bottom of my spine curved and was told scoliosis patients don't have pain ..... save your money and go to a good chiropractor first , less pain and money . I would never recommend surgery unless life or death

Excellent surgeon I am just rarely pleased with the staff that schedules appointments. Not the friendliest office personnel. My only complaint about Dr. Holt is that it is very, very difficult to get medicine refills when necessary.

About a year ago, I had a misfortunate accident and fell on some broken floor joices , I began to have bad pain in my lower back , bad went to worse , worse went to excruciating , so bad I could barely walk at all , I lost two jobs because I could not do the work I had did for so many years before , I took all kinds of medication , ....pain killers , narcotics , you name it , I took it , I would cry & cry the pain was so bad , ,,I have a great fear of doctors , but I finally went to see one , I was diagnosed with a bulging disc putting pressure on my spinal cord nerve, I was then refered to DR.Richard .T.Holt, Spinal Surgery Specialist , He talked with me extensively about my condition and took exrays , cat scans, an m.r.i test , and examined me thoroughly before making an informative , educated and precisesive discision on what he thought would be my best route of action to take on getting this pain under control , and back to functioning the way I'm supposed to , We set up a date &… time to do a surgery on my lower back , ....I am now back home recuperating , doing fine and PAIN FREE,...I even feel better than I used to before the accident ...DR. HOLT .is truly a fantastic DR. and a absolute top notch surgeon in my opinion. he did a great job on my back , he really helped me , he not only fixed my terribly painfull problem and got me back to my normal self . he helped me get MY LIFE back,... my only wish is that I should have went to see him sooner, He has absolutely earned a big A !!!! in my book ,... I really can't thank you enough,, but ...THANK YOU.... THANK YOU.. so much.. DR.HOLT

I wans to say I am so sorry for miss leadding people and saying do you want a nice Dr. are one that can get the job done right. Please don,t let him do back surgery on you. He has screwed my life up. He is also very rude and really don't give a darn about you. Please check out other Dr's. I will never go back

From the time I walked into the office I felt as if were in a combat zone. the office staff was so rude and disrepectful. they treated me as if I were a bag of trash. The staff looked down there noise at all the patients and even raised theie voice at one eldery lady. Good thing she wasn't my mother. when it come to check out time they totaly ignored me standing there while continuing a not professional and un job related conversation. I would not refer anyone her this was a 1 st time visit and the Dr. wanted to send me to the hospital for surgery that day. Apon which another patient that I talked with in the lobby said she was being sent to have the procedure and it was her third one.No doubt i will not return

Yes he may not be the best at bed side manner but he is the best at what he does. What would you like to have a doctor that is nice and sweet hold your hand. are one that is honest and fix what is broken right and help your pain? I want the man that know's what he is doing and that is dr holt.
