Dr. Richard Jeffrey Jackson, MD

My daughter,15, was referred to him because she had gall stones and needed her gall bladder removed. Aside from not having her chart, he insisted that the gall stones were not her source of pain. He ordered more tests and referred her to a GI doctor. In the meantime, my daughter was in severe pain. No urgency!

My son was born with TEF/AE. He needlessly suffered a whole year with reflux, pain, and would never eat because of that and was fully tube fed. At nine months old A GI specialist and I asked for a nissen to be done. Dr jackson refused saying he would outgrow the reflux. He was only 12 pounds at a year old and could not sit or crawl! He aspirated severly at a year old and almost died. It was only then Dr. Jackson agreed to the NIssen. My son gained half a pound each weak after that and crawled ten days after leaving the hospital. He was a new child! He would have eaten well much earlier if the reflux problem was resolved. I wish Dr. Jackson would have listened to me (A mother and registered nurse) from the beginning.
