Dr. Richard Bruce Jennett, MD

Dr. Jennett was recommended by our primary care doctor for both my wife and I to have colonoscopies. He was kind, courteous, respectful, and adequately informed us as to what to expect. With the exception of the 2 gallons of beverage we had to take the night before and the natural apprehension one has for any surgical procedure, we felt he was an excellent doctor and would certainly recommend him in his field of expertise (he needs to update his photo as his hair is now white/grey!).

He is unhelpful, untruthful and clearly more interested in protecting himself from lawsuits than in helping his patients.

This man is very unfair. Tends to make decisions without consulting or even knowing the patient he's writing to. I've written legitimate complaints about poor and inadequate care I've received at JCMG and his solution, with no input from me, is to send a letter ostracizing me from JCMG as a patient rather than reprimanding the offending doctors. Very unprofessional and inappropriate.
