I would strongly recommend Dr. Johnson and have.

Always cancels my appointments that I scheduled over 3 weeks in advance. Uncaring, will not follow up. Will not finish talking to me during my appointment time, will send a nurse to talk to me instead. Waiting time horrible once was almost 2 hours waiting. Nurses/staff assistants will be rude, made me feel even worse when I had an asthma attack in his office. Worse assistant nurse Genevieve will treat me badly, with a loud voice making me nervous. If you have any other option, avoid going to this doctor, very unprofessional.

Dr. Johnson was my father's specialist for several years, as he had COPD. Dad was on oxygen 24 hrs/day for 8 years. My father had nothing but good things to say about Dr. Johnson, and the doctor had told my father that he would even attend his birthday party, if he reached his 90th birthday. Due to unforseen and unfortunate circumstances, my father passed about 8 months before his 90th. Each time he was in the hospital and I needed to talk to Dr. Johnson, I would call him at the hospital early in the morning. He always took time to answer all of my questions. I really appreciated his caring manner, as I lived several hours away. I have nothing but good memories of Dr. Johnson's attentiveness to my dad and highly recommend him to anyone in need of his type of care.

My Mother was under this physician's care. He is in charge of the respiratory subacute facility my Mother was at. He does not manage the medical staff with any type of professional direction, requiring them to perform their functions in a competent, professional manner. He shows total disregard for the patient and therefore this is the example he demonstrates to the staff and they follow suit. Twice when we tried to reach him in an emergency, he wasn't available. The facility staff was directly responsible for my Mother's death and Dr. Johnson didn't even call us. We had to track him down. He was to call us back after looking into what caused the death and never called back. Total disrespect for the patient and for the family. He is the reason why the staff is so incompetent. Nothing is demanded of them and there are no consequences for their incompetent performance. He should be the leader and let them know how he expects his patients to be treated: starting with dignity… for them as humans; then respect and care for their medical condition and the ability to respond to their needs 24/7. Because he doesn't care, they don't care. Dr. Johnson should not be practicing medicine if he doesn't care. He should quit while he's ahead and spare any other patients death due to such gross negligence.
