Dr. Richard Eric Kast, MD

Did not help me at all, interrupted me during the session, talked at length about unrelated topics, tried to Bill my insurance for services never rendered, just got a bill in the mail for $400 for absolutely no help at all

Do not let this doctors cluttered office full of gizmos and half finished art projects fool you, this man is a genius. With his help I have realized once again that happiness is a real thing and not just a figment of the imagination. First medication he prescribed for me was a godsend. His frank and to the point personality inspired me to release things with him that I have balled up inside me my entire life.

This man has given me my life back. Through tireless trials of medications, he prevailed.

I have been under care from Dr. Kast since 1988 when I suffered my first bout of depression and I was hospitalized, and he was my resident. I have always found him to be very professional, but also very caring. Many times he has had me call him on the phone (at no charge) to discuss things. He is the most intelligent MD I have ever found. He is very methodical. He really cares about his patients. He has gotten me through 20 plus episodes of depression.

"Dr" Kast truly has no business providing psychiatric counsel to others. To begin with, I witnessed him harassing a poor young lady over a parking spot when I arrived for my appointment. Apparently he had blocked this person in because he deemed they had taken "his" spot and refused to move his car despite the fact that the lady had a plane flight to catch. After witnessing his complete lack of social grace and manners, he rudely called me into his office (from the other side of a wall, out of my line of sight) as if I were a dog begging for scraps at his door, making no mention of that fact that I had waited on him to arrive at the office for almost an hour. Do not go to this supposed 'doctor' for treatment of any kind if you have any level of self respect. I will never go to Mr Kast again!!

I have been seeing Dr Kast for a few years now. He is very a very good doctor.
