Richard Kellermayer

Dr. Kellermayer has been the GI doctor for my 2 sons for many years. They both suffer with Crohn’s Disease from an early age. He and his staff are extremely professional and accommodating. Dr.K takes his time during office visits and phone calls to ensure that everything is understood not only by the parent but by the pediatric patient too. He is my boys’ favorite doctor ever. I trust him very much.

Dr. Kellermeyer is a very kind and under doctor ! He really helped my sons condition immensely and was very sensitive to our feelings .. A very kind person and amazing Doctor!!!

He should be more understanding of what his patients are going through and not look down upon them. Dr. Kellermayer can't wait until you turn 18 so that he can give you the boot and not have to deal with you anymore. I'm glad to have found a doctor who is much more kind and genuinely wants to listen to me when I explain my symptoms, not quickly dismissing them and ignoring me.

He has an MD and PhD and is working on new and exciting research in the field of IBD as well as seeing patients in clinic. He is a caring and interested doctor. The other reviewer said he interrupted and reminded them he had another patient to see. We have seen him for 4 years and this has never been our experience. In fact, he spends lots of time with us and is always extra kind to my child. Highly recommend

Dr. Kellermayer is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and very responsive to communication. He is also brilliant in the area of pediatric gastroenterology, and also has a Ph.D in Molecular & Human Genetics, so he takes a great interest in research to better understand what causes, as well as what helps IBD. We took our son to see Dr. Kellermayer for a second opinion, as well as to discuss the possibility of getting our son into a clinical trail he will be conducting in 2017.

Constantly interrupts, over and over. He will remind you he is short on time.
