Dr. Richard Donald Kilker, MD

From my personal experience I can say that I had never had any problems with dr. Kilker. He was always professional and patient. Not only his diagnosis is correct but he will answer any questions u have and expand on how to take medicine and vitamins. I am writing this review because I was really surprised to see negative reviews. I think they were talking about somebody else. I do not believe my eyes. Dr. Kilker goes over the results of your test and even sends you his concerns by mail if you did not make an appointment. So my rating would be Excellent and I recommend this doctor.

I can't say for sure but my last visit made me think I could file a complaint against this doctor (?) for unethical behavior/abuse of physician position...I was basically berated and blackmailed into having lab work done to get 1 refill on a prescription...If I complete the lab work and make another appointment he might fill the scrip for a year..So this amounts to pay me for 2 visits and pay the lab, then I may bestow upon you a scrip...

I am 63 years old. I have high blood pressure. For more than 20 years Kaiser gave me excellent care. I never had a prblem getting the medication I needed for my high blood pressure. The yearly retail cost for this medication is less than $100. Now, this doctor will not fill a 90 day prescription for this medication unless I spend $150 on an office visit. The cost has soared 800%. Why? Because this guy wants his 30 pieces of silver first. California law allows him to issue a prescription for 1 year. This man prey's upon disadvantaged seniors. The last visit was unproductive. I saw Kilker for 2 minutes. He just said "you may be sick, go to urgent care. Now pay me $350 please, good bye". His staff is stupid and incompetent. They wrote an invoice incorrectly stating I owed $5 for a copay instead of $25. I paid the $5 on the invoice. Those idiots then sent my bill to collections for the $20 they forgot to include on the invoice. These people are one of the main reasons the medical industry is so bad.
