Dr. Richard Mark Kilmer

Why Dr. Kilmer ?
Dr. Kilmer grew up in the Sacramento area and received his Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento.
He continued his education by attending dental school at the University of California, San Francisco, where he graduated at the
top of his class and was elected a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon- a national dental honors society. Following dental school,
Dr. Kilmer undertook his orthodontic specialty residency at the UCLA, Medical Center. Attending UCLA, one of the most highly
regarded medical centers in the world, also afforded Dr. Kilmer the opportunity to pursue his Masters degree in Oral Biology
while attaining an excellent well rounded orthodontic education.
Following the completion of his education, Dr. Kilmer came home to start his practice and became Folsom’s first full time
orthodontist. For over 20 years he has provided fun filled orthodontic care for his community and is one of the biggest supporters
of youth sports in the area.

are confident they can provide orthodontic care of the highest quality for patients of all ages.
