Dr. Kim is amazing! When I had severe pain going down my left leg, I knew something wasn't right. I contacted my neurologist who ordered a MRI. I was called immediately to contact a surgeon. I did not hesitate to contact Dr. Kim whom did my neck surgery six years prior with great results. When I brought in my MRI, he shared with me that I had had apiece of my disc break off and go into a nerve, in another disc area. Surgery was a must because I couldn't even lift my leg. Within a week of my decision to do it and cancel my Christmas party of 26 people, I went forward. After surgery, my pain was immediately gone! I couldn't believe it. Amanda at the center was also incredible in explaining what to expect. I highly recommend the DISC Center for spinal injuries. Thank you all for your expertise to the max!

Dr. Kim and his team were amazing! From the first consult to the surgery and post op recovery, everything went according to plan! Dr. Kim is a very through and confident doctor who answers your questions and empowers you to make critical decisions. He is also respectful and takes my input seriously. His confidence gives me confidence! He is trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable. I am so lucky to have been treated by him. I am progressing well after my cervical spine surgery and 10 weeks later you can't even notice my incision. I feel like I am getting my life back without excruciating pain and numbness. I am very grateful for Dr. Kim', and as a Neurosurgeon he is a great asset to the Southern California community! His patient care coordinator, Amanda, has been wonderful. She has helped me with questions and answers, and I thank her for her help! The total experience could not have been better. Having Cervical Spine Surgery is not a fun activity it's very scary and nerve racking. But Dr. Kim and Amanda made this easy to manage. A big thanks to both of them!!!! Lastly, I don't mind making the 2 -2 1/2 hour drive… one way to seek his expertise and care!!

Horrible doctor. My father went to him for pain in his neck. He didn't take an xray or check anything. He didn't even touch his neck. He just said take some Ibuprofen and you'll get better. That is a sports medicine doctor? lol...what a joke. Parking is horrible and you have to pay as well. Do yourself a favor and find another MD.

I have been under Dr. Kim's care for the past 15 months. I had neck surgery scheduled with an orthopedist specialist and a friend told me it was in my best interest to see Dr. Kim before I had my surgery. Best decision I ever made was cancelling my surgery and having Dr. Kim perform the surgery. He's a great doctor and a very caring person. The efficiency of his office is second to none. His Practice Coordinator, Amanda, is the most helpful and responsive person I've ever worked with. I hope NEVER to have neck surgery again, but if I need it, it'll be with Dr. Kim!

Dr. Kim performed a partial laminectomy on my L3/4 and L4/5 areas and it has made all the difference in the world! I am once again pain free and active. The follow up care has also been amazing as well. I highly recommend Dr. Kim and DISC who anyone who wants a successful operation and excellent care. 5 Stars from me!

Dr. Kim was the ONLY doctor out of 5 others that actually listened to my concerns, and was brilliant in his diagnosis. I had come to him with my issues, gave him my thoughts of what I thought it was, he listened and didn't pass me off as crazy, and we were both correct ! It has been a tough recovery, but he is so caring and sincere, I am very grateful for him. We are both in this for the long run and I am comforted to know he is there.

He's an amazingly good surgeon! That's really all that matters when it's surgery, but he was also great in all other regards!

While I waited for weeks to be seen by neurologists who didn't diagnose me correctly, Dr. Kim figured it out. Surgery was so successful, that I went back when the next disc failed. The latter was repaired before the others even got me into their office. That was almost 10 years ago, and I still surf, ski and sail regularly. Spectacular outcome.
