Dr. Richard Gede Kincade, MD

Perhaps it was because this physician was donating his time to see me, instead of getting paid to provide the "excellent" care so many other reviewers seem to have received. I did try to see how his Ketchikan, Alaska, office is rated. Couldn't find it. He thought it was appropriate to refer to his referral for me to have a diagnostic colonoscopy (I'd hemorraged a few days prior) as me going to visit The One Eyed Monster. He thought that was very funny. He thought it was so apropos he just had to repeat it several times. Even though I failed to find it the least bit humorous, every time. He even wanted to know if that's the sort of thing I enjoy? In my very experienced opinion, it was just plain Sick, and he owes me a true and sincere appology. Also, this was after I had shared with him how it had taken me years, years ago, to stop remembering every little detail of the first Screening Colonoscopy done while I'd been living in Alaska, that failed to use the usual and customary… (yes, even in Alaska) amnesiac, Versed. I have no allergy or contraindications for Versed. It was even more inappropriate for an MD who says he's worked in Alaska for 6 years because women in Alaska all know "The One Eyed Monster" is not the tool used in a Colonoscopy (which has 4 openings, by the way). Dr. Kincade knew full well I was an Alaskan, and in Alaska both males and females know "The One Eyed Monster" is quite a different animal.

The absolute best. He cares about you and knows his craft. The best.

The best doctor ever, anywhere. I am 72 years old and only wished I had found him earlier on in my life. He is truly the only doctor that ever "got me".
