Dr. Richard Marc Klein, MD

If you need surgery do not go to Dr. Klein for preop testing. I did and he decided that since he did not know my neurosurgeon he would not sign the release for surgery, even though the surgeon was recommended by the Pgh Pirates doctor. Otherwise he is a good doctor

I had my first visit with doctor Klien and I immediately felt I was very fortunate to now have him as my doctor he made you feel at ease and listened to my concerns I was very happy with my visit wish I was a patient years ago

I have no idea what is wrong with this doctor, but he does not listen. He presumes to know things that are in direct conflict with what he is being told and is completely offensive. I had actually decided never to go back to him on a previous visit, but needed a follow up conversation and I am just truly blown away by how dismissive he is, and how his recollection of events and statements he has made are just completely false. I will never, ever go back to this office again.

I recommend DR.KLINE,To my family friends,ect ect...i think he is the best Dr.i ever dealt with. I had him for a Dr. years ago loved him then,when my insurance changed i had to get another Dr.oh boy what a mistake as soon as i got insurance that covered him,i want back to him, been there ever since...he aways listen's, very friendly,every time i need help he's there,was in the hospital came every day to see me,great bed side manner funny lifts my spirits,everyone has their own opinion and this is mine..thank you DR.Kline for being a great DR...

I have been a patient of Dr. Richard M Klein's for many years now and he and his office staff are the most wonderful people. He makes me feel comfortable and listens and explains answers to questions I have without any pressure of hurriedness. I have never had a problem with getting an appointment in a short amount of time and always made a follow-up appointment. He is in tune, like for example, I was totally exhausted and having chest pains, he new to send me for complete bloodwork and withing a day had me on medicine for my thyroid. When I spoke to a collegue, they said it took months and many office visits beore their doctor finally found out they were having thyroid problems. I trust Dr Klein and his wonderful staff almot as close friends. Its good to feel this way when your health depends on the person your paying your copays to and running back and forth using gas and time that its not in vain or a waste. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone out there looking for… a primary care physician.

Dr. Klein is not a good doctor. I do not recommend anyone goes to him. I went to see him for a few things I needed to discuss. His office staff was great so I thought he would be too. He rushed me through the appointment. Everything I asked him about he referred me to another doctor for. The one thing I wanted a referral for (physical therapy for lower back pain) he said I need to do some back exercises. He did not examine me, he did not put his hands on me. I will not be going back.

He does not listen or care about your problem. I now have to see a different doctor.

He did not regard me with respect and refused to listen to my concern. I now have to find a different doctor for what has been a very painful problem.

While the office staff were good, Dr Klein's bedside manner was lacking at best. While he seems to have a strong record as a doctor, he failed to simply listen. I was not able to even briefly outline my health concerns. Perhaps he is used to people talking way to much about irrelevant things. Even if that is the case, he lacks the skill to gather relevant information while guiding the discussion. Also, he was quite rude to his office staff.

Dr. Klein is a fine listener and a kind man. He takes a genuine interest in his patients, their mental as well physical condition and takes both into consideration with diagnosing and treating. He is interested in hearing what the patient has discovered through his/her own research. A patient never feels rushed by Dr. Klein and at times you feel he may be taking too much time with small talk. But don't be fooled...he will get to know you personally as well as professionally and you may be surprised by his astute observations about you during follow-up visits. The staff follows Dr. Klein's lead in their friendly and considerate manner with patients, particularly Dr. Klein's wife, Mrs. Debbie Klein. She demonstrates the same interest in and care of patients as her husband. They are a superior team.
