Dr. Richard Jonath Koletsky, MD

He's the third Endo I've had in a year and he's by far the best. He listens and answers my questions. :)

he gives an accurate diagnosis, and he does not waste your time or his very prompt. and yes I would recommend him to others.

I would trust Dr. K with my life and indeed I have many times. He has seen me through some very tough and complex problems involving obscure rare diseases and common problems. The only drawback I would say is that he is so compassionate about seeing to the often complex needs of his patients that he will often be running late by the end of the day. Knowing how valuable his time is, I simply bring something to do while I wait. Oh, and he should have more magazines in his waiting area.

Dr. K is a real expert is endocrinology and diabetes care. He is also non-judemental and very caring as an individual. I highly recommend him even if you have had bad experiences with doctors in the past.

I feel that the doctor was concerned in seeing me and getting me out. No explanations re: care for the disease, other than change medications and given a brochure with no explanation regarding it. Later learned the brochure was that I was to make arrangements to visit a dietition. All about the money.

This doctor is tactless, prejudice, and his staff is hostile, lacks professionalism and frankly I don't know why any physician would refer a patient to him. I worked for him 31 years ago and he has learned nothing about bedside manner or communicating with patients. I was treated as if I had a mental disorder when in fact I think the physician does! Pathetic!
