Dr. Kraut won the 1985 Drummond-Jackson Prize for British Advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry. He is board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery, dental anesthesiology and oral medicine specializing in dental implants, disorders of the jaw, major bone grafting and tumor reconstruction.
Dr. Richard Kraut received his DDS from New York University College of Dentistry and completed an internship at the United States Army Hospital, Ford Ord, California. He then completed his residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, Fitzsimons Army Garrison, Colorado, and at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in Texas.
