Dr. Richard Kubiak, MD

I am still in disbelief the way this physician practices. To anyone looking to come to his office please don't. My uncle was scheduled to have a hip replacement surgery in two weeks. He had to go to the hospital to have pre-surgical testings done this week and we just received a call stating Dr. Kubiak is no longer going to be practicing or doing surgeries what kind of foolery is this. This office is probably the most unprofessional and unethical place i have been to. I wish someone would have warned me prior to me bringing my uncle in to see this doctor. To make matters worse my uncle paid $400 dollars to change his flight to make sure he made it on time to his surgery and none of this was taken into consideration when canceling his surgery. In addition i spoke with a manager by the name of Sandy in the office and all she had to say was "well we were just notified what can we do". What kind of physician notifies you that he is leaving a practice one day before a patient is… scheduled to have test done in the hospital. Mind you i spoke with his surgical coordinator on Thursday and I get a call on Monday "ohh the physician is leaving the practice". This entire office is ridiculous. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE AND WASTE YOUR TIME. They do not even deserve one star.

I came to this Doctor after speaking to his secretary who assured me that he would help me with a rather embarrassing and debilitating illness. He lied to me and told me he needed special training in order to give me the medication I asked for. He had me humiliate myself by reaching out to my prior doctor who he knew was a family friend to ask advice, and then changed his mind and still refused to help me. I now go to a doctor on the south fork who has assured me there is no special training involved in what I was asking for, and some doctors just avoid patients with problems like mine. I've been free of my problem for almost 4 months now, no thanks to Dr. Kubiak.
