Dr. Richard Leaderman has been an accomplished periodontist since 1976 and has been placing dental implants since 1988 and using the dental laser for full mouth periodontal surgery since 1990.
He began his dental career at the University of Detroit with a Bachelor of Science in 1968. In 1972 he received his DDS degree from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry. In 1976 Dr. Leaderman graduated from Tufts School of Dental Medicine from the specialty program in Periodontics. Dr. Leaderman completed a program on Medical Course Design and Communication at Harvard School of Dental Medicine from 1977 to 1978 in which he stayed teaching a post graduate program for the next 15 years.
He has lectured for the past 25 years on pain free dentistry, and fears and phobias in dentistry, laser periodontal surgery and dental implants.
