I have been coming to Elizabeth Family Health for 11 years. Dr. Leahy is the best doctor I have EVER seen in my life!! Trust me, I have had over 70 physicians who have treated me including 35+ surgeries and follow-up treatment--I have had 12 spine surgeries which includes 3 surgeries for the spinal stimulator and SEVERAL spine injections and not one of those surgeons or physicians treated me as well as Dr. Leahy treated me-- brilliantly, efficiently, compassionately, etc. I always show up 30 minutes early, and I have been seen almost immediately after I check in. I DON'T even have to check in-the girls in the front office know me and handle it for me. I see Dr. Leahy once a month for pain management and this has gone on for many many years!! He is beyond the greatest. I don't know WHY ANYONE would EVER say he is less than the highest rating on here. Unless your mental!! I am blessed with having Dr. Leahy as my physician! He is so funny, open, caring, kind and takes INCREDIBLE… care of me! I have NEVER run out of my many medications because he always asks me if I am doing okay on them, of course abiding by the laws! Thank you for this forum so that I can tell my story and my experience with the greatest doctor on earth!!

An excellent doctor who is interested in helping his patients stay active & healthy. We are in our mid 70s & he is 1 of the 2 BEST doctors I have ever worked with. He's a realist with a good sense of humor. He LISTENS, & accommodates his patients' wishes & convenience whenever possible. Also, he's willing to answer questions. Certainly with we could "clone" him into the state where we are now spending more time--have found no one to equal Dr. Leahy there!

Dr. Leahy chooses to practice medicine in a small CO community, but he is huge in his attention to patients, knowledge of current drugs & their costs, & in his ability & willingness to help older patients stay active, enjoy life, & use their own common sense re their health needs. He knows when to refer a condition/question elsewhere & he LISTENS!(Has a sense of humor also!)
