Dr. Richard A Lewis

This man is an exceptional doctor. As of the time of this review, I have been watching my health decline at an alarming rate over the last 4 months rapidly waning in the last 2 months. What began as fatigue and moderate weakness quickly progressed into profound weakness, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest pains, difficulty swallowing and chewing and a near inability to speak in the late evenings. Having sought help from my PCP, a cardiologist, an ENT specialist and undergoing many tests and a trip to the hospital, I was beginning to become very frightened and desperate. This doctor agreed to see me inside of a week from the thoughtful referral from the ENT specialist, which in and of itself was a relief. Dr. Lewis performed one of the most thorough verbal and physical examinations I’ve received and spent more time asking clarifying questions than I have experienced since my symptoms began. He is a wonderful mixture of empathy and cerebral academic insight. Leaving his office, I had… the first feelings of hope in weeks. Although my diagnosis is pending, he moved aggressively toward a treatment protocol with medication that had an immediate impact on my symptoms the same day I was seen in his office. Again, as of the time of this writing, I have had the best 2 days physically that I have experienced in the last 4 months. Regardless of my final diagnosis or prognosis, I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have encountered this doctor. If you have experienced the kind of systems I have had, finding even mild relief and moderate cessation of symptoms quickly after fumbling around in the dark for months in a state of deterioration, is nothing short of Godsend. I recommend this doctor and his staff with the highest praise and sincerity possible. I hope this review will lead others to be helped as well.

Glad he is no longer a provider in MT but sad for whatever he goes next. DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE.

Do not waste your time.

I was treated very, very disrespectfully and given completely false information. I was made to believe that the was I was being treated was all in my head until I spoke with others and learned they had the same unsettling experiences. On top of it it was a waste of time- when he couldn’t find out what was wrong from initial tests, he told me I just don’t make sense and I can waste money on more MRIs but they aren’t going to find the problem anyway. Billings clinic told me I cannot switch providers
