Dr. Richard Dean Lieber

Yes it CAN take awhile to get an appointment with him (plan ahead!) But he is great - Professional, good attitude, REALLY sits and listens and addresses your concerns/questions.

Dr. Lieber is great but the phone system & what a person has to do through to get an appointment or referral sucks

Dr. Lieber was personable and attentive as well as knowledgeful and informative. He perceived that I was one of those patients who views doctor visits as perfunctory and medicine as something from which one should attempt to wean. So he made the visit short. Thank you! The only thing I hated about UMC services was the interminable wait to get a health care referral specialist on the phone. I listened to the self congratulatory accolades for a full half hour on hold until I finally gave up and left a message. For a professional medical business for which such high achievements are exclaimed you would think that they would have the sense too beef up their answering service with dome real souls instead of self gratulatory ad nauseum recordings. Ugh!

Excellent Manner and Diagnoses!!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Lieber's for nearly 10 yrs. My Mom went to him for about 3 yrs. until her passing. My husband's been seeing him for about 6 1/2 yrs. I think that says it all-- he is absolutely the best family care physician that I have ever had. He is warm, caring, compassionate, and importantly, extremely knowledgeable. He is updated to the newest treatment options. His is bedside manner is fabulous.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Leiber for about 20 years. We both just changed doctors. It is almost impossible to get an appointment with him. It took us 3 months to get in. His staff is lazy and they don't care about the patients only their own personal business. I have a foot condition which was causing me terrrible pain. Tired to get in to see him for a referral and was told to just keep calling every morning at 7:30 am to see if there was an opening, no compassion at all from his staff. I am not a complainer and frankly I don't go to a doctor unless I really need to, expect for my regular appointments. I really will miss not going to Dr Lieber but it is getting to the point I had to change.

When presented with a list of symptoms, Dr Lieber was able to quickly identify the problem, and prescibed a low cost persciption drug to eliminate the symptoms and prevent them from returning. His nursing staff (forgot name) was friendly, knowlegable, and followed up to insure problem was solved!

When you call to make appointment you are on hold forever then when they answer their tone is like your bothering them.Right now it takes about a month to get in so if your sick you have to go to urgent care. When you finally get there they spend more time talking about their personal issues instead of concentrating on getting the people back. They are not profesional at all.

DR.LIEBER IS A HANDS ON - GET THE JOB DONE DOC !!!!! HE GETS TO THE ROOT OF THE ILLNESS , HE DOESNT JUST TREAT A SYMPTOM HE RESOLVES THE PROBLEM . A DOCTOR WITH A SMILE A HAND SHAKE AND A HAPPY GREETING , IMAGINE THAT....AND HE REALLY CARES WHAT IS AILING YOU . WHERE DID HE COME FROM IN THIS DAY & AGE. HE IS DR TO ME & MY HUSBAND AS WELL AS OUR SONS. THE STAFF TREATS YOU LIKE FAMILY , THEY SEE TO YOUR OFFICE NEEDS & ADD LEVITY TO YOUR DAY. GOING TO THE DOCTOR AINT SO BAD WHEN YOU ENTER DR.LIEBERS OFFICE !!!!!
