Dr. Richard L Lu, MD

This was the worst appointment ever. His bed side manners are at ZERO, He's RUDE, Does NOT like to be called out on his behavior, plays the blame game, does NOT communicate with you about what's next. He also told me that he doesn't trust me after I told him how he made me feel. Also let me not forget that he made it very, very, very clear that he was the ONLY & the GREATEST HERNIA SPECIALIST at UTMB and that I wouldn't find any other surgeon that could help me.

I have multiple hernias with part of my colon in the hernia. Dr. Lu was a complete jerk. Told me, i had to quite smoking for at least a month while trying to loose 50 lbs befre he will operate. What am i supposed to do in the mean time. I can't exercise because of the hernia and already can't eat becuse of my colon. I am going to a real doctor not some jerk with a degree that acts like he is superior to everyone else. DON'T SEE THIS GUY.
