He prescribed Xanax to an addict. He knew he was an addict, and he did it anyway. And he missed a thyroid condition. All around terrible physician

My son went to this "Doctor." He is shockingly unprofessional.

I have been seeing Dr Male for 3 years. Each time, he has been very friendly, patient, and easy to talk to. I especially liked his nurse/assistant who saw me first. She seemed more willing to spend time asking questions and gathering information. This last time I had a short wait, but he seemed like he was trying to make up that time.

I have been seeing Dr. Male for over 10 years and have always been treated with compassion and what’s best for my general health.

Dr. Male is an exceptional physician and great family doctor. Although I have not been exceptionally happy with billing on insurance this does not reflect the ability of Dr. Male to care for his patient's.

I'm a former long time patient of Dr. Male. I quit going to Dr. Male after I questioned him about the treatment and care I had received. I was being treated for low testosterone and was receiving one large dose of testosterone every month. After receiving an injectable dose of 600mg I did not experience any significant differences and had my levels checked a week later and was informed they were below the low normal range of where they should have been after receiving such a large dose of testosterone. I questioned Dr. Male and expressed my concern that I had not been given the correct injection. He became upset when I attempted to close the exam room door and proceeded to open the door so that people in the hall and people walking by could see and hear what we were discussing. I then expressed my unhappiness with him not respecting my privacy by leaving the door open. He then informed me that this was his office and he would do as he pleased. He then told me that the trust had… obviously been broken and that I should find another doctor. I took his advice and found the best doctor I have ever had. His bedside manner is perfect, he respects my privacy, and he has treated my low Testosterone the way it should have been treated from the beginning not with one huge injection once a month that causes peaks and drops in levels but rather with regular injections every two weeks to keep my levels stable. The irony of this is that Dr. Male told me to find another doctor which I did. On my way to my first visit with my new doctor I received a call from Dr. Male's office and the woman on the other end wanted to know if there was anything they could do to keep me as a patient since I was a longtime patient. I told her in no uncertain terms would I ever consider going back to the doctor who told me to find another physician to go to. In the many years I did go there it was like a revolving door with his staff. Apparently he is not a good person to work for since the turnover rate seems to be so high. There are much better primary care physicians to see not only in Georgetown but all over central Texas. Don't take your health and safety for granted, you and your family deserve the best medical care so don't settle for anything less. If you want subpar health care and to be kept waiting then go ahead and go to Dr. Male.

Doctor Richard Male is very Moody. You don't know what mood your going to catch him in when it's your turn to be seen. With that be ready to wait in the exam room from any where from 1/2 hour to an honest hour. And he'll look you over and then your out of the exam room in 5 minutes. Every time I go their from the time I walk in the door until the time I walk out the door it has been an hour and 20 minutes. Trust me I keep track of this. His staff is ok to work with. Their is a young lady who does not work their anymore I'm glad of she worked at the front desk and she was very rude and down right mean. Now they have teamed up with Little River Medical. So I think Doctor Male is all about the mighty dollar.

I use to go there regularly because my mom would take me there I hated it from visit #1. Since 3 years ago I haven't been back. They change doctors there like crazy. There were two great doctors there and they left. One was a African American male the other a Caucasian female I have no idea where they went. But that tells you enough the Doctors who own the place aren't the best doctors there!!! Im always uncomfortable there the nurses are very messy and rude! Im absolutely positive they all know what goes on in my file. When no one but one nurse and one doctor should know! They stair and have little to no manners! I was appointed to Patricia Male!! She made my visits Very uncomfortable with snarled remarks and faces While my vagina was opened. She pinched me w a tool It was horrible . It was a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend them at all

Dr male laughed when I told him my symptoms. Then asked what I wanted him to fo about it. I told him I did not know that he is the doctor. He walked out without treating me. I later went to another doctor and was then rushed to a heart lab. Male is only looking for dollars. Does not care about patients.

I routinely have to wait over an hour to get to the exam room, then wait another 30 minutes once there. I'm far too patient. Tests ordered were incorrect, Dr. asks for a recheck appointment for everything, and I was put on an antibiotic that was dangerous for a fetus while pregnant.
