Dr. Richard Martinoff, MD

I've been surrounded by doctors my whole life and must say this doctor's staff is awful, office itself is uninviting. They keep very limited hours, their answering service is horrendous ( you can NOT leave a message) their purpose - I dared to ask - page the DR in case of an emergency. Please, I'd die first! The front desk doesn't seem to know their left hand from the right. Have been left waiting for over an hour sitting on the most depressing looking "waiting room" that resembles a dark hallway. When you finally get to see the DR the examining rooms are cramped, furniture looks old. They have print outs taped all over their outdated cabinets addressing things like the time you may have waited because the doctor was giving extra attention to someone else and it could be you the next time - huh? How do you know I don't need extra attention today. What about ANY attention since I just waited for an hour sitting on the most uncomfortable chair in a sad looking "waiting room". Nothing… special about the doctor either!

Dr Martinoff is extremely caring and I feel he really knows me. Che is an excellent doctor. He spends a great deal of time with each patient. His staff is very nice.

It’s hard to find a good doctor in souther Florida but Dr. Martinoff is one of the best.

Dr. Martinoff has been in charge of my healthcare for years. He is an intelligent and kind doctor. I recommend him to my friends and my family.

Dr. Martinoff will let prescriptions lapse, even things like heart medication. His office keeps minimal hours, and the answering service will not take messages. I have contacted the office several times for prescriptions, and had left messages for his assistant, who never called me back. He has set up a patient portal, but they would not give me a password to use it, and when I called, they never returned my call regarding setting it up.

I Saw Dr Martinoff today after calling yesterday for a sick visit. The staff was very accommodating and Dr Martinoff was very attentive and had excellent beside manner. He listened to me and took his time with me. He was thorough and very nice and caring. Hi staff was sweet and helpful as well.

Experience with Dr. Martinoff has been good. However office staff is unable or not competent to resolve any issues. Trying to get blood work sent to my cardiologist is just something they are not able to accomplish. Trying to get a call back form Miriam for 5 weeks not regarding medicare incorrect coding. Seems like that is not going to happen either. As a result of the lack of follow up from office staff, I am having to pay a expensive lab bill or go into collection. Something is not right here.

I was very happy with this Doctor and staff. They are professional and spend time with you answering your questions and recommending reasonable treatment. I get early morning appointments and they run reasonably on time. I would recommend my family and friends see Dr Martinoff.

THE OFFICE IS BEAUTIFUL EVERYTHING IS BEING RENOVATED. STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. DR.MARTINOFF IS MAZING! EASY TO TALK TO , UNDERSTAND AND LISTENS. HE IS THE KIND OF A DOCTOR WHO IS COMPASSIONATE ABOUT HIS WORK. VERY CLEAN OFFICE , GIRLS IN THE FRONT LOOK VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ARE WELCOMING. HIS NURSE IS A VERY SWEET LADY AND CALLS BACK IN A TIMELY MATTER WITH RESULTS. BEST CARE IN BOCA !!

Terrible bedside manner. When my Husband wanted to bring another issue to his attention he told him that he only deals with one issue per visit and that he would have to schedule another appointment. Not been happy with him for a while. This is the last straw.
