Would like to see more open to patient opions on oral choice

Love Dr Matthews! He has always taken 100% + care with my children's teeth and my understanding of what he is doing and why.

Love this doctor. Love the office. Love the staff!

We have been using Dr. Matthews for about six months now after my daughter got braces. We continue to have issues with brackets breaking causing us numerous trips for a fix. It is always difficult getting a timely appointment. She recently had two brackets break in the past week and when trying to get her in following the weekend for a fix we were told there was no room to squeeze her in and that the earliest appointment was two weeks out. When asked what we should do about the loose bracket that was jabbing into my daughters cheek they replied "just break it off and bring it in on your next visit". This is not the service I expect for paying such a premium for Dr. Matthews service!

We have been going to Dr Mattews for 12 years, originally at the Nanes location and now at the new facility. The doctor has always been patient and was wonderful with our kids even when they were very young. My 2 year old had to have 3 nurses hold him at the pediatritian for a strep test, so I was dreading his first dental exam. The staff and doctor put him right at easy - no problem, only giggles. I was amazed!!!! The new location is world's better than the original. I am so glad for the move. (The original location was in a small, dated building - one could tell the landlord wasn't investing in maintaining the building - near an area that while once a medical concentration area, had turned less desirable.) I am sure it was difficult to make a move well into one's career but, I am glad they did. (My father was a vet who had similar issues with a landlord not investing to maintain the facility and had considered moving a number of times but the capital to repurchase… equiptment made it not feasible - his building owners fortunately sold to a group that re-invested. Thankfully.)

We are very disappointed about the service at this clinic. We had an appointment at 4:10PM and we called the clinic to let them know that we are running late. They told us we had 15 minutes late. When we got there at the door it was 4:25PM but they did not let my daughter in to have a procedure done and made us to reschedule. What kind of service is that. Is it really a patient care service?

Office is very unsanitary.
