Dr. Richard Nicholas Medley III, MD

I was referred to Dr Medley by a urologist I use to see because he was retiring. From the moment I met Dr Medley I liked him. I like him because he doesn’t sugar coat anything. He tells you what he sees and knows. He has always been cordial to me and my wife. I’m glad he’s my urologist. The interaction I’ve had with his staff is one of professionalism and courteous

Less than 5 mins. Advised i had a question and he said ok follow me. Led me to the office exit door and left me there! Please seek 2nd opinion!! Cancelled all future appointments.

Waited two hours after my scheduled appointment time to see Dr. Medley. For which I received a 5 minute consultation for an elective procedure which was denied. Not pro-patient.

I have been a patient of Dr. Medley for more than 20 years. I have had kidney stones twice and several urinary tract surgeries. D. Medley has always been professional, knowledgeable and thorough in sharing information with me and taking care of my health issues. He also has a great sense of humor and is the only doctor that I truly enjoy seeing. I would highly recommend Dr. Medley.

Had bladder sling 21 days ago. Amazing - no coughing, sneezing and peeing simultaneously!!! It's super!!! Well - so is Dr Medley and Stephanie Flaspoehler, APRN. Recommend them to anybody for any GU-related problems. Thank you so much. Cheryl S.

Great doctor ??. Tells it straight. A bit of a joker.

I get kidney stones frequently and have a lot of experience with doctor offices in general. I’ve been one of Dr.Medley’s patients for years. Dr. Medley is by far one of the most compassionate doctors I have come across and the best urologist I have ever had. He cares about his patients and knows his stuff. Never been to his office without receiving prompt treatment and proper care. The office staff is also very kind and helpful.

Among other things, he ordered a test without advising me that it would cost $3000, wasn't proven to reduce the risk of death from cancer, and wasn't covered by insurance. He and his staff were utterly unapologetic.

Been a patient for more years than I like to admit. Has always kept me waiting.Once,I left after an hour without seeing Doctor. Today, I toughed it out for 2 and one half hours. As usual, the delay was due to an emergency. He offered no remedy for my complaints. His reason for my 3 times higher than normal PSA was that I was a a good sized fellow . If you are someone he has actually helped, consider yourself extremely lucky

He literally saved my life recently. I have always been impressed with his professionalism & concern for his patients.
