Dr. Richard Jeremiah Miskimins, MD

Dr. Miskmins has a very poor bed side manor treats his patients like they are stupid. He came into a visit for my daughter 20 min late. I work in healthcare so I understad this is not uncommon. Never made eye contact or bothered to introduce himself. Just came in and said he was refusing to do her surgery because it was to early. Never gave a reason other then that. My daughter had abdominal laparotomy that needed a resection. He then proceded to tell my 19 year old that she could NEVER have children due to her scar. He walked out leaving my daughter in tears. I imeaditatly fired him from her case. I have been a nurse for 28 years and I would NEVER send anyone to this man he is heartless and should stick to his area of medicine. I have seen many women with a scar from laparotomy have children. I am happy to say my daughter was able to have her resection done by another Physician, and was able to have a child a year later with ZERO complications. In my opinion Richard Miskimins should… not be in Practice because he has failed at the OATH he took.
