Office had no record of my appointment even though had made the appointment directly with them. The doctor was so rude and arrogant and was telling me I needed immediate surgery- in the OR, putting me completely under for my thumb. Luckily I got a 2nd opinion who said that not only did I not need surgery, but even if I did, there would be no reason to put me under, that they would just numb the thumb.

Dr Montilla and his team were outstanding and able to complete a very difficult Mohs surgery reconstruction on my nose. Would highly recommend Dr Montilla for his professionalism and attention to detail.

Dr. Richard Montilla is such a nice person..: not just a nice physician. He genuinely cares about and listens to his patients re: their needs/concerns. Dr. Montilla did an excellent job on my hand surgery and although I’m only 2 wks post-op, he has reassured me that everything will be fine, he has treated me with kindness (as has his entire office staff), tenderness and 100% professionalism. I had a broken wrist during my vacation in Boston area. Fortunately, ER doctor referred me to Dr. Montilla for surgery. Dr. Montilla and his staff are very professional, warm and caring during my surgery in Worcester, MA. My follow up doctor in Pasadena, CA is so impressed with Dr. Montilla's work on my wrist. Dr. Montilla is a excellent surgeon, a perfectionist, and a real human being.

Not a stereotypical office like “Hello be with you in a moment have a seat office” The office is warm with a welcoming, caring staff, it's as if I stepped into another world leaving the stress behind. Its like one would feel meeting their best friend or family No white coat syndrome would survive here.Dr Montilla is a calm,relaxed individual and transfers those qualities to his patients in a caring manner. He is open, listening to each issue and concerns. He always asks about family whom were former patients with a genuine interest no matter how short or long ago they were a patient. No rush,no hurry, the only interest was of me the patient. He has a professional support staff continuing the familial feeling with Sarah, a medical assistant and laser technologist and Jeyon also a medical assistant and gap year student I have been completely satisfied with all of my experiences with Dr Montilla and would not hesitate to recommend him for any procedure one might be interested in… having. Montilla was able to complete my emergency hand surgery in a quick and efficient matter. He was very helpful and available when I needed him. As a result of this surgery I got back more function in my hand than even he anticipated I would. He truly out did him self, and my hand continues to get better each day!
