I last saw Dr. Nickowitz in April 2026 during an emergency endoscopy with a bleeding ulcer. After meeting with my surgeon, it was recommended that I get GI care. I chose to follow up with Dr. Nickowitz. The hardest part was the scheduling. Thank goodness I received an earlier appt. My follow up visit with Dr. Nickowitz today was excellent. Wanted to make sure I was in good healthwise, asked various questions about my health today, how I was feeling, showed concern, etc. Found him to be very compassionate, helpful and welcomed me to get in contact with him when needed. I recommend Dr. Nickowitz very highly to those who need GI care. Very well mannered and showed care in his patient. Very patient with me. Did not feel like he wanted to get rid of me.

I'm a fan. Dr. Nickowitz deserves the praise and loyalty he has amassed over his years of service in Pasadena. He consistently demonstrates solid judgement in treatment of GI health. He's always 100 percent present in our office visits, a quick learner, and careful in taking action steps. Unconditionally recommended.

Dr. Nickowitz is one of the most elegant and fiercely intelligent physicians in the world. His bedside manner is incomparable and his attention to detail makes him different than everyone else. His staff are supremely professional and caring. I highly recommend him.
