Dr. Richard Keith Osterholm, MD

We have been patients of Dr. Osterholm for 40 years and could not have chosen a better doctor. Over the decades, we have even become friends. He always listens to all our concerns and explains anything we don't quite understand or want more information about. He answers all our questions and takes time during each visit to visit with us to get to know us better and, we are sure, to make certain that our minds and spirits are also healthy. We could only give him 5 stars because there are not more stars!

This Doctor gave me multipe times the dose if a medication he should have then would not admit it. He did not know enough about the medication and then his office and malpractice folks played deny and defend. May have been good at one time but not so much now. Stay Away from this one.

Dr osterholm did not do a follow cat scan or Neuro eval of my family member which in turn resulted in a head bleed while vacationing in another state. He would not return phone calls, emails, or assist us in managing his care.

I could'nt ask for a better Doctor he has great bed side maners, great staff ,spends as much time as needed, can always get in to see him when need be

Poorly run office. Wait time is ridiculously long. Too many patients; too little time for each one. No personal attention -- just an assembly line operation.

My mother had been a patient of Dr. Osterholm's for 20+ years. During the last year of her life, he failed to treat depression, diagnose cancer or see her through to the end, telling Missouri Valley Hospital that they could keep her because he wasn't going to do anything more for her. He told my mother what she wanted to hear, not what she needed to know. He also was giving her an RX out of his desk (free samples) that had a major drug interaction causing cardiac arrest with one of her other 18 pills he had her on. I could go on and on as I have copious notes, but I won't. Just always get a second opinion if your life could be hanging in the balance.

Dr. Osteholm ia very smart and has a great bedside manner. He listens and explains everything in laymans terms. I find him friendly and thorough. I would recommend him to anyone!
