Dr Owen's is amazing! He provides me options and explains everything well. Can't recommend him enough!

Dr. Owen's originally diagnosed my injured left lower leg as a multiple fracture. He strongly recommended surgery to correct the dilemma. The surgery was successful yet in only 10 weeks post-op the stainless steel insert support cracked. I followed all the necessary steps, wore the boot, didn't place extra stress on the leg. Yet I was forced into a cast for an extra four weeks. Now my recovery after four long months is slow. I believe I might have been given dubious post-op advice, which might have led to my complications.

Dr. Owens was recommended to me and I found him to be very thorough and easy to talk to. He Diagnosed me accurately but no treatment required at this time.

I have been seeing Dr. Owen since he came to Southern Oregon. Seeing him become the professional, caring, dr. he is today makes me know that I am in the best care. He speaks clearly which I appreciate as I age.

He's the best orthopedic Dr I've had in over 42 years with regards to my ankle condition. He spent ample time with me explaining his observations and made a recommendation of not wanting to tamper with it at all unless my condition changed. We are both veterans and he understands my situation and preferences completely.

First of all it was my mom with the appointment. I am her daughter and caregiver. I think Dr. Owen needs a vacation. I wasn’t too impressed with his bedside manner nor the brace for her ankle. He stated that the brace would help improve her balance and I disagree with him. When someone falls they lose confidence in themselves no matter their age. Having a brace is not going to convince her confidence when it comes to balance. I have found that very few people in a professional position want to deal with the elderly. It is VERY SAD that it has come to this! I hope Dr. Owen gets his vacation and or some much needed rest.

Dr Owens has excellent surgical skills. He has been kind and caring and listen to my concerns. He is continuing to learn new procedures in less invasive surgeries to benefit his patients, and I feel blessed to have benefited from these skills.
