Dr. Richard Andrew Packard, MD

I came to the E.R. in Key West after unfortunately developing a blockage in my bile duct (on a cruise) My husband and I were pleasantly surprised that the small hospital there not only had the equipment to perform the ERCP, but also a fine physician, Dr. Packard. I feel that he was accurate and diagnosed and treated my condition expediently and with the utmost of care. I received excellent treatment by this Doctor, and the facility in Key West.

Dr Packard has changed the quality of my life. He performed an endo and a colonoscopy, hence discovered and was able to treat two very different issues. His bedside manner, his attentive follow ups, the entire office staff, and his overall care and concern has completely changed my opinion of doctors. I was given detailed information both before and after the procedures, and was able to ask multitudes of questions without feeling rushed or bothersome. I cannot recommend him enough. :)

When Dr didn't like that I informed him I didn't like the way he treated me he wrote damaging LIES in my medical records. A despicable and unscrupulous human who should return to NY. YALE or not he's passed his expiration date

My first appointment Dr spent 10+ complaining how he still had to work, hasn't had a raise in 35 yrs and is no longer a Dr but employee. That's just tip of work I was subjected to. As for my health he never asked. He ordered tests without explaining why or the risks.Was so sure it was my gallbladder but it wasn't. Second appointment he was abusive,& rude. Stay away he obviously is miserable in his job.
