Dr. Richard Pidutti, MD

I was treated in the ER Friday for bladder blockage. They took 5 hours to place a catheter in me. 4 different nurses and a doctor tried. They said too much scar tissue. Dr. Pidutti never looked at me only read records saying, “Well, there was no problems in 2015 when they did your hysterectomy”. Yeah, they never even placed a catheter in me for that surgery. I had to be drained of 1200 cc urine that night because I couldn’t pee. He even suggested that my interstitial cystitis isn’t real. But then proceeded on saying they have no way to confirm a diagnosis? Dr. Pidutti said maybe I could try Botox, I said no. He asked why, I said I don’t like putting things in my body. He said well then you aren’t ready to fix your problem then. I asked if he could do a scope to see why I’m having problems and if he could sedate me since they had so much trouble putting in this catheter. He went off like a rocket ship. Informing me he is the urologist and he doesn’t sedate people. If I don’t like it… find another urologist. I immediately looked at him and said ok, bye! I went through five hours of different nurses and a doctor trying different sizes of catheters to put in me and none of them could do it. I was screaming in so much pain. I had two natural childbirths and it was nothing compared to my bladder issues. Dr. Pidutti started having attitude when I refused Botox. Then he really let his actions flare when I asked to be sedated when he would do a scoped because of the pain. No, he’s a horrible doctor who is too old to have new patients with medical diseases that he knows nothing about.

I would recommend Dr Pedutti and his staff to everyone. I was treated very well. I had what i thought was a scary procedure , i was treated with kindness by very professional people. They made the experience comfortable. they were very reassuring. All my questions were answered and I left feeling very satisfied. Thank you to Dr Pedutti and his staff. Bonnie
