Dr. Richard Jay Price, MD

Dr. Price is a terrible Doctor. His bedside manner is awful and he is very cold toward his patients and families. One time when when we were out of time and a family member was ill, he told the nurse he was too busy to call us to give us an update on our loved one’s status. If you want a competent Dr. and also one who is caring, do not got to him. If you’re loved one is very ill or passed away, he is not the person you want to hear this from.

I was going to another cardiologist who was always making mistakes or bad decisions. My blood pressure was sky high. Dr. Price changed my meds and my BP is now normal.

Not bedside manner. Nasty and rude.

Dr. Price has been my husband’s cardiologist for more than a decade, so when I needed a cardiologist, I went straight to Dr. Price. He is very knowledgeable and caring. I recently had an unrelated event- kidney stone that required hospitalization- and afterwards, he told me I should have requested to see him. I told him it didn’t occur to me! So the next time I was hospitalized, I immediately told the doctors and nurses that I am his patient. He commands respect and just saying his name brought an extra level of care. He came to see me in the hospital while I was having cardiac arrests. He is a big reason why I am alive. He advocated for the best possible care for me. He took the time to counsel my husband. He stayed by my bedside for hours until I was trauma hawked to Miami. Dr. Price was in constant contact with the head of cardiology in Miami to ensure everything was being done thoroughly. His office staff has been equally supportive and call to check on me. Highly recommend!

No real bed side manner here. But he knows his stuff.

In 1997, after suffering a heart attack and having complications after surgery, Dr.Richard Price visited me in the hospital. Soon after his visit, my wife entered the room, he left the two of us. All of a sudden, I felt like I was going to sleep...and did. Well, not exactly, my heart stopped beating. And, faster than a speeding bullet, like Superman, Dr. Price was there for the rescue. Since then, 13 years later, I have been a faithful patient of his...and his lovely nurse, Cindy. I have followed Dr. Price's recommendations, and have been enjoying a wonderful "LIFE" ever since. I plan on being a patient of his for another 13 years!
