Richard C. Rampi, DMD
Dr. Richard C. Rampi was born and raised in Orlando. He graduated from Boone High School in 1978 where he received the “Distinguished Service Award” from the Kiwanis Club of Central Florida, the American Legion Award, and the “Good Citizen” of Boone High School by the Daughters of the American Revolution. Afterwards, Dr. Rampi earned a bachelor of science in Chemistry at the University of Central Florida. He graduated in 1982 with magna cum laude honors and was inducted in the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
Dr. Rampi attended the College of Dentistry at the University of Florida where he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1986. He graduated “with honors” which is granted to the top 10% of the class. While at the University of Florida, Dr. Rampi was a member of the Christian Dental Society and also served as a Representative for the American Student Dental Society. He was also inducted into the …Honorary Dental Society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Dr. Rampi has had the privilege of serving the dental community in southwest Orlando since 1987. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Central District Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Greater Orlando. He is a certified provider of computer-aided dental technology (Cerec), is certified in the use of the soft tissue laser, and is a Preferred Provider of Invisalign orthodontic treatment.
Professional Affiliations
Dr. Rampi finds many rewards in practicing as a family and cosmetic dentist. He cherishes the camaraderie he has with his dedicated “crew” and has worked together with several crew members for over 10 years. He also especially enjoys establishing lasting, fulfilling relationships with his patients some of which were with him since “Day One”. He does not take for granted the opportunity of “Guiding the Way” to their better oral health and a more confident smile. Dr. Rampi enjoys high-tech equipment and routinely seeks the continuing education needed to offer to his patients the latest that dentistry has to offer.
Outside the Office
Dr. Rampi has been happily married to his wife, Tricia, since 1985 and they live in southwest Orlando. Their son Ricky (1988) is a student at the University of Central Florida and their daughter Rachael (1990) is a student at the University of South Florida. In addition to the joy of providing dental care, Dr. Rampi enjoys water sports, winter sports, jogging, college football, playing the piano, traveling and especially enjoys spending time with his family. He is an active parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church.
