Dr. Richard Rosa Randall, MD

In March, 2025, Dr. Randall performed gallbladder surgery on me. A few months later he repaired a very large ilingual hernia that had been growing for almost a year and reconstructed my abdomen. I left the hospital the next day.Two previous surgeons would no attempt the surgery saying it was highly complicated and a difficult surgery. Five weeks later, I'm doing quite well.In my opinion, he is highly skilled, personable and completely professional.

I have had a total of three procedures with Dr Randall. Some of these reviews I could see where people would get the arrogant nature from first impressions but like with everyone you have to have the chance to get to know him alittle better. I am one of those people that get stuck with a label quickly because I tend to keep my distance when first meeting people. Dr Randall is dang* good at what he does. He does have a gift to serve. What he does outside of that is his business. All of us are here to "get by". I didn't choose the medical field nor did I have the smarts for it, but he did and 3 times now I am grateful. I am a patient, not as some have stated below is a friend or have money. The doctor is a man...he is not God and will tell you he isn't. He does the best he can with what he is given to work with. Can't make chicken salad outta chicken poop. =-)

Dr. Randall is the most arrogant and rude person I have ever meant. He is so money oriented and full of himself. I will never use him as a surgeon and nor will the rest of my family. He refused to operate on me because I did not have insurance. I am tried of seeing these so called "awards" on his page. Apparently, they never had him for a surgeon or they had lots of money. I am so tired of this world being so money oriented. When I first met him, he just started randomly cussing without even knowing me first. This is not the characteristic of a professional doctor. This man has been in anger management a few times without correcting his arrogant and phony self. I don't care if someone is straightforward in their talking. I care about compassion and honesty. This man is incredibly dishonest. He treats the staff at Huntsville Hospital and Crestwood like garbage. I would think twice before going to this man unless you want someone with a POOR BEDSIDE MANNER, ARROGANT, ETC. If you like… a doctor like that, then go right head. However, you should think twice before you go to him. He treats his patients like garbage unless they are related to a doctor, have lots of money, or if he can get something out of them. It is out of sheer morbid curiosity to why he is the "helping" profession. He probably does it so he can go on this elaborate vacations and yell "I am a doctor, let me ahead of the line so I can get my margarita first."

Dr. Randall helped to save my life a few months ago, and stood holding my hand during a wound change when he probably had better things to do. I’m having another operation on Monday, and never considered another doctor.

Dr. Randall did superb job with a difficult hernia repair case. He made sure everything was explained before and after the operation. The care by him and his staff was outstanding. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Randall has been very nice to deal with he explains everything and takes time to answer your questions. When needing a follow up appointment the woman I spoke to today was very nice and got the appointment right way for us. My husband was impressed with Dr, Randall as I was he was highly recommended and he has a nice bedside manner and jokes a little to tale the edge off when people are going in for surgery. Very impressed.

He is very rude and arrogant. He was so hateful during my appt that I refuse to see him again.

He took care of my issues and knew the answers to questions I didn't even know to ask. He and his staff were cordial and even funny. They are all very easy talk to.

Dr. Randall is a great surgeon. He is incredibly knowledgeable and spends time answering all questions. Dr. Randall was very patient and kind in guiding me through my surgery process as well as follow-up appointments.
