Dr. Richard is a specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of dental health problems in infants, children, and adolescents. After graduating cum laude from Hampden-Sydney College, Dr. Richard obtained his dental degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Richard then completed a one year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at The Ohio State University. Following completion of his AEGD, Dr. Richard practiced general dentistry in Columbus and the surrounding area until beginning his residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Dr. Richard is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Denistry and was awarded the Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award in 2003 by the ABPD. Dr. Richard and his wife, Alison moved to Hendersonville, NC to open Reid & Reid Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics in May 2004.
