Dr. Richard Martin Restak, MD

the chessboard on #8 is set up wrongly. I know this is a minor point but it is a pet peeve of mine after playing thousands of games of chess, NO CHESS PLAYER WOULD PLAY WITH A DARK SQUARE IN THE RIGHT HAND CORNER. BTW, I have seen this mistake on commercials, at many displays (the birthplace of Sinclair Lewis), and even checkerboards at Crackerbarrel restaurants. Checkerboards are supposed to have double corner at right. I love Dr Restak but he obviously either has never played a game of chess or is not responsible for his own graphics. For me it shows lack of knowledge of over the board games in todays electronic age. It reminds of mindless jumping in portrayed checker games(even backwards) and checkmating (which almost never happens with expert chessplayers) I am sure who ever reads this is afraid or reluctant to show it to Dr Restak, but the mistake is glaring to chessplayers. Very knowledgeable. Dr. Restak has written over 20 books about the brain and is one of the smartest doctors I've ever met.

Despite repeated visits over a number of years, Dr. Restak does not seem to know who I am, even when looking at my chart. He doesn't listen to my responses to his questions and has been outright hostile -- arguing with me like a child. He often appears confused about what medication I am on, and doesn't seem interested in helping me.
