Dr. Richard James Ronneburg

After roughly 10 years with this dental office, we discovered that when it came to billing for Medicare patients, their office manager Michelle Hazelton was completely incompetent. She improperly followed the proper procedure for billing the insurance company which left us in debt to the good doctor in the amount of $1852.00 which he promptly turned over to collections. This prompted us to take the office to court where they attempted to file a cross claim for over three times the amount of the original service. In the original filing and in the appeal, the judges dismissed their claim as ridiculous and allowed them only the original debt. The insurance company sent the office notices of improper authorization (attached) which indicated they did not have the right to hold the patient responsible for their lack of competency for proper authorization of the procedure, however, not only did they ignore the notices they claimed to never have received them. Initially we thought the problem… was only in the rude, combative, incompetent office manager Michelle Hazelton but now after Dr. Ronneburg's display of greed in the court room where the judge actually had to shut him down, we realize this is how they operate behind the scenes.
