Summary
Dr. Richard P. Rubino received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the Medical College of Virginia (VCU) in Richmond. In addition, he completed a one year Hospital Dental Residency in Norfolk, Virginia and received a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). Prior to that, he received a Master of Education degree in Counseling as well as a Bachelors degree in Psychology at the University of Virginia. In addition Dr. Rubino maintains regular on-going continuing dental education in all phases of family and cosmetic care.
Dr. Rubino became a Family & Cosmetic Dentist to combine his abilities in the science, technical and creative aspects of dentistry. He uses his education and clinical experience to help people overcome their anxieties. Patients are more relaxed and comfortable receiving care in the environment we have created.
OUR OFFICE
Our office has been serving the families of Loudoun and Fairfax Counties for over 25 years. The office …provides most phases of dentistry including age specific services to three year olds through seniors. We enjoy seeing young people as well as adults.
All of our staff have many years of experience in dentistry. In addition we have all worked together for many years. We know our patients and you will get to know us.
You will be greeted warmly by an experienced, professional office manager. She can help you with most questions about the office and dental benefits coverage, as well as information about many dental procedures. You will also see one of our Registered Hygienists who have many years of experience in family dental care. Our hygienists are licensed by the State of Virginia and maintain yearly continuing education. Our experienced and caring chair side clinical assistants help you with your comprehensive care.
RECOGNITION
Dr. Rubino was voted one of the area’s Best Dentists by Washingtonian Magazine in 2006, and one of the Area’s Top Dentists by Washington Consumers’ CheckBook in 2008 and 2005. This is a reflection of Dr. Rubino, our staff and the care we provide.

    Virginia Dental Association (VDA)
    American Dental Association (ADA)
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Dr. Rubino and staff are also active on a volunteer basis in the community with the MOM Project (Mission of Mercy) which treats low income patients, as well as the DDS Program (Donated Dental Services) that treats mentally and physically handicapped patients.
