Dr. Richard A Sachson, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Sachson for almost two years, I can be a high maintence patient at times (I also dabble in the homeopathic treatment world as well which Dr. Sachson tolerates but give clear guidance about which is nice). Dr. Sachson and Amie (his PA) who commonly works with/speaks to patients on his behalf is always a pleasure (both Dr. Sachson and Amie respond very quickly via email and phone call)- she is patient, warm, and kind but the message is always direct, clear, and honest- which is a big deal because sometimes my medical issues can cause a brain fog where I can get repetitive or mixed up. I’m never confused about exactly what they think or want me to do or exactly what is going on- which helps tremendously. Even when the pandemic hit and everyone was in the dark I was able to zoom appointments and never felt forgotten about or on my own. I’m sure they received 500 of the same questions that day, but handled my concerns with care. I have also seen quite a few… Dr.’s for my situation (most of which were good) however Dr. Sachson was/is clearly the most experience in my matter by far. He knew my “medical story” even before I shared all of It.. His internal systems knowledge is so impressive he knew the chain reactions of everything I was dealing in our first meeting alone, no one else got that far- his experience is apparent which is worth noting as my issue is rare. Based on this I have security so I no longer feel like my medical issues consume everything. He definitely doesn’t treat me like my life is held back which in turn makes me not treat myself that way.

Dr.Sachson , is dedicated and very knowledgeable of how the endocrine system works .

Dr. Sachson and staff performance is excellent. I never feel rushed. He always take the time to answer any questions, and performs a thorough check-up. I have been seeing Dr. Sachson for many years and my diabetes has always been under control.

He always spends enough time with me, answers my questions, and is most knowledgeable and helpful regarding my disease.

For several YEARS, I religiously completed appointments and labworks as a patient of this doctor. My thyroid cancer was never seen by this doctor but accidentally discovered by another doctor. It is very devastating to have entrusted my thyroid condition to Dr Sachson for the past several years and by the time the cancer was discovered, it has reached stage 3 and there are no words to describe my devastation. It is very alarming to realize that such doctors get rich at the expense of people like me. I should have known better.... Do not see this doctor!!!

He is a know-it-all and idiot at the same time

Excellence in his field. He is definitely, Dr. Endocrinology of Dallas. Thanks to his diagnoses, early intervention, I'm still alive.

Unbelievably arrogant & abrasive. Told me the lump at the base of my neck is a "fat pocket" WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT MY NECK. My gynocologist sent me in for an MRI & there are a number of nodules in my thyroid. Dr. Sachson should NOT be practicing medicine.
