Dr. Richard Steven Sacks, MD

This is from May 2024 and I totally agree that Dr. Sacks is very arrogant, rude & dismissive! Once he has decided he thinks a patients odds are not to his personal liking it shows. He entered the room sharing his professional opinion but also admit he had not thoroughly read the patient’s chart yet. It is dangerously poor to give a professional opinion without know the patient’s history or even why they are there. His Bed side manner was horrible. The care at Sharp Memorial Hospital by the physicians was terrible . The nursing staff was just ok.

I saw a review stating that Dr. Sacks was rude and arrogant. I had to comment because I work with him. I consistently see him show excellent communication, understanding, and compassion to both patients and to their families. I would even go as far as to say that, of all the doctors that I've worked with at Sharp Memorial, he has the best bed-side manner that I've seen. He is also a great teacher with the students and newbies.. not too many doctors waste their time with that stuff. Very nice guy.

Dr. Sacks is up to date on the latest studies. He was thorough in providing all the possible consequences and outcomes of various options of treatment. He leans toward caution, which was appreciated. He answered all questions in an easy to understand manner. I am very impressed and thankful for Dr. Sacks' handling of my case.

He was arrogant, rude & dismissive! He has no interest in listening to or addressing the patient's concerns! The care at Sharp Memorial Hospital was terrible & a lot had to do with the lack of compassion & interest eExhibited by Sacks.
