Dr. Richard H. Sandler, MD

This Doctor did absolutely nothing for us. We have went to him for two years. During these two years he did not order one test. I went to a different gi specialist and they ordered test. He is negligent and doesnt care at all. I told him symptoms tell i was blue in the face. He said there was nothing wrong because she was high end of weight chart. This is negligent on his part. I do not want to see another parent or child suffer because he doesnt want to order test or do his job. A doctor can not say there is nothing wrong with your inside and its nutrition tell they order test.

Dr Sandler saw my daughter after many doctors and hospitals saw her and gave up. He diagnosed her with a rare condition and has been treating her. He diagnosed her quickly and came up with a treatment plan for her. He stays in contact by phone and is available whenever we need him. If we have a reason to call the office we recieve a call back every time the same day if not from him by his nurse who is also wonderful. While going through the worst part of our daughters illness it was Dr. Sandlers bedside manner and follow through that helped us relax and stay positive. We were able to spend the time hugging our daughter through her illness and didnt have to worry if as parents we had chosen the right doctor to lead the team who was helping her. We dont know how we would have gotten through our daughters illness without him.

The doctor was nothing special. There was no follow up and getting an appointment is adequate. However, trying to call the office is a nightmare. Leaving a meassage is a nightmare as calls are not returned. The wait time is horrific, over an hour. This is a pediatric doctor you would think that the wait time or their scheduleing procedure would somewhat be in a timely fashion as this is kids that have to sit around over an hour waiting. I found a better hospital and a better doctor at Childrens.

Dr. Sandler is a great gi doctor. He does all that he can to help resolve the situation and he really does care. His staff is most helpful and I highly recommend him.

I saw Dr. Sandler from the time I was 9 until 18. He is a brilliant man with a human touch. He understands complex issues and treats everyone with respect. He also tells it how it is.
