Rude secretary at his Lawrence office. Over the phone and in person. He seems to just be collecting until he retires because he doesn’t seem to want to help patients. My mom was refused service for not bringing her own interpreter with her. Secretary seemed to be disgusted buy my mothers color.

Dr. Sawyer was administering a routine colonoscopy on me, and when he reviewed the X-ray he noticed something that he thought he should examine further. He did some more probing and determined that further investigation with more specialized care was warranted. He recommended further consultation with thoracic medical practitioners in Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. I followed up and was diagnosed with early stage thoracic cancer. The treatment was successful. As I had experienced no remarkable symptoms I would not have pursued further care on my own. The surgeon who removed the growth informed me that had the cancerous growth remained unaddressed I would have been dead withing five months. Dr. Sawyer's meticulousness resulted in saving my life.

this doctor was to perform an endoscopy at the hospital. he was very late for appointment and so I opted to shower. he came to the hallway in the shower and berated me, in the hospital hallway, in front of all other patients, people and staff on the floor. I told him to relax, and was appalled at his child-like behavior. to say his bed manner was lacking is a compliment. I never, ever want to speak to him again.
