Dr. Richard Wright Schafer, DO

I made two different appointments with Dr. Schaefer. He saw every patient that was in his waiting room that was scheduled to see him.... some had appointments made at a later time that day that mine was. When it came my time to see him, he saw other patients instead and when he did not choose to see me at my appointed time, he left the building. He did that on two different times when I was scheduled to see him. My "visit" was ignored and a physicians assistant saw me on the last time I was there. Dr. Schaefer is not fit to be a doctor. He should retire. His hands tremble and he doesn't keep appointments that are made far in advance.

Had only one visit with this doctor sch as fer as my regular doctor just up and left us, his patients, to find out that he just discarded his patients like someone would there trash!! I probably would've stayed on with Dr. Schafer if he didn't want to do a major overhaul on switching my medicine to others which basically means experiment until one is found that works. I wasn't up for the experimenting again like i had already to be on the medications that were working for me when i went to see him so no other visits followed.

I absolutely love Doc Schafer. He is thorough and he looks you in the eye and truly cares about his patients. I like his staff who are friendly and very professional. He in my books surpasses the five stars and is the best. Having him to look after me and my health is truly a great comfort.
