Dr. Richard Schenkelberg, MD

Dr. Richard Schenkelberg joined Greenbrook TMS in February 2019 as Medical Director of our Independence and Willoughby centers.

Dr. Schenkelberg received his bachelor's degree in chemistry and psychology, summa cum laude, in 2006 from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He then earned his medical degree in 2010 from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where he was awarded the James and Philip Brasington Memorial Prize for outstanding preclinical and clinical performance in psychiatry. He completed his residency training in 2014 at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Resident.
