You can trust Dr. Schmidt. My family & I have been going to him for many years & he is very honest & goes above & beyond for each patient. He really gets to know each patient..the best overall doctor that I have!

Dr. Schmidt is great! All the fillings and caps he has done for me are wonderful. He has very good hygienists and office staff.

My teenage son came down with the flu and was sent home from school the day he had his after school dentist appointment. When I called to notify the office, the receptionist who once seemed nice, said we would still be charged $40 for the appointment. I then said that I would bring him in even though he had 102 fever. She said no to that and said I would still be charged. I even called to explain again that my son had a significant fever, started on antibiotics, and tamaflu that but they were adamant, even the dentist himself, and even with me having a doctor note excusing my son from school and all activities. Now it's been many weeks later and I just received a bill in the mail for $40. Is this ethical practice? Also this doctor once about a year ago told me I had a cavity and needed to schedule a filling. Since I have had like no activities in my life and I am 58 years old, I shied away from doing it. Waited until now when I found a new dentist to go in for a basic cleanup and… check-up. I never mentioned anything about what this other dentist said and I was told I had NO cavities and even though I waited over a year for a dental cleaning/check-up, I was told everything looked good. She said I had 2 teeth close together -since with age my teeth have shifted which has created a little shadow but she could tell it was not a cavity. This Dr. Schmidt who charges for missed appointments when someone is legitimately ill, and tries to do work that is not needed, is highly unethical!

Since all these reviews are 3 years old I thought I'd add a recent one. Dr. Schmidt is incredibly overpriced. They will have you come back for 3 office visits for what it takes to accomplish in one.
