Dr. Richard Joseph Schweitzer, MD

He has declined as a physician. He started out strong about a decade ago. He had colleagues then they all left and now he has reduced hours. he’s agitated and dismissive during appointments. He seems uninterested and doesn’t look for any root issue. He does not return any calls and communication is difficult with him because he doesn’t listen. He talked over me and didn’t want to hear what I had to say about my health needs.

Dr. Richard Schweitzer is an excellent diagnostician. I have argued with him regarding his approach. HE listens. He does not center on a diagnosis until he has all the information. I have argued with him cause you must look at all the symptoms before making a Dx . I was afraid that he would miss something.It is a horrible feeling having a sick child in the middle of the night.I am a pediatric nurse and after our first butting of the minds was always thrilled to know he was on call.I knew he would discover and prescribe the right medicine for my child.I listed a three cause he can be abrupt. Do not think he is not listening.He is very thorough !!!HE listens. He looks at the labs and if needed he changes the med therapy.I respect this Doctor.HE is very good.
