Dr. Salvatore Richard Scuderi

Dr Scuderi is by far one of the best caring efficient and thorough OB/Gyn . I credit this doctor for basically saving my life. So sad he he had to retire ?? Very difficult to find a doc like him

This man has a plan to give you a c section no matter what. Despite me not needing one, he induced labor for no reason, telling me urine was amniotic fluid (and the paper to test for it was a bad batch) and pumped me full of pitocin ending up with uterine tetany and a stat c section at 37 weeks. In my second pregnancy, I had a uterine rupture 3 years later, and almost died (along with my baby). Thanks to his desire to control the outcome. Stay away!

This Doctor was one of the best male doctors ever met. He treated me as if i was a new born baby. i had an issue that my previous doctor wasn't able to help me with and with one visit dr scuderi was able to give me an answer. my results came back the next day and ws prescribe medication. on top of that the staff was so understanding

I have been going to Dr. Scuderi for more than 10 years. He is kind, knowledgable and a caring doctor. He always spends time with me after the examination explaining in easy terms any tests he would like to run, concerns he has etc... I recommend him highly and trust him with my life...

Happily after 21hrs of hard labor, Dr. S brought my beautiful 10lb grandson into the world. He was ever at my daughter's side explaining everything to her as it was happening. This alleviated her fears as this was her first child. He made sure that no 'interns or residents' that were not approved by him would come in to 'check' out things. This saved many exams by learning doctors. He was professional, sincere and funny at times. He put my son-in-law at ease and had him help deliver the baby. He allowed me to stay with my son-in-law and daughter through the whole, long delivery process in her room. All in all, she wouldn't have any other doctor deliver her next baby..It's Dr. Scuderi or bust.

I was admitted (2.5 weeks eaerly)because I was reportedly 3cm dialated and had some fluid coming out. Nitrazine paper was not blue, he said there was a bad batch, they would do ferning at hospital. Once there they did exam with lube which changes ferning test results and that was no done. By the intern, Pitocin gets started and increased very quickly. Intern told me that his orders were to admit me and start pitocin. About 5 hours later my md examines me and sees my water had not broke, so with out any discussion (about this or pitocin) he breaks it and said there was slight meconium (a reason he could use to get the baby out if I didn't progress quickly enough. I was going at least 1 cm per hour but he continued to increase the pitocin and turn down the epidural. At 9 cm fully effaced, I had a continous uterine contraction (uternie tentany) which caused a drop in babys heart rate so a stat c was ordered, when I asked why, HE YELLED AT ME. They gave me IM terbutaline so by the… time we hit the OR baby's heart rate was fine. He still, however, proceeded to cut me open with my epidural turned waaay down and I felt it. The anasthesiologist tried to help with Ketamine (fast acting) but it mad it miserable.My husband was not allowed in the OR even though it was not stat. This man is a poor communicator with patients and nurses, and it was clear that the nurses and other doctors do not respect him. And too top it all off, her said I was LUCKY to be with such a skilled surgeon. Then botched my baby's cicumsicion so much that his ped was quite suprised.
