Dr. Richard John Seckinger, DO

I spoke with Dr. Seckinger through Tele dock and I found him to be extremely thorough and appreciated the fact that he took the time to listen to my concerns and actually had a conversation with me instead of talking at me like some other doctors I’ve seen. I liked him so much I will be scheduling an appointment with him in office.

I was seeking care treatment for chronic UTIs causes my kidney stones. I contacted him via Teledoc requesting treatment and avoiding exposure to COVID being autoimmune compromised. He refused to treat me and stated I need to get UA done per policy. Upon his refusal for treatment I called my urologist. He was appalled at the fact that he would risk my life for a basic UA and culture. Especially since it’s a chronic reoccurring issue that’s being supervised by a specialist. My specialist immediately stated to NOT go into urgent care and called in the antibiotic. I just needed care and avoid exposure till it’s safe me as medically fragile patients to go out into public let alone a medical facility. The fact that this doctor would risk my life tells me that his values and morals are way off. One I would never seek care from or work for as a RN myself.
