Dr. Richard Wilson Shamblin, MD

Dr. Shamblin and his Nursing Staff is just amazing. They have such good customer service and is very loving and kind. I Have had to visit other Dr's in this office when mine Dr. was out and felt the same love and companion from them also.

I will not go into politics I.e. health reform but making new medicare patient appoints has become near impossible but for a few willing doctors in our area. That being said, one of the few, as I wad told was Dr. Shamblin. As his Father, Dr". Bill" had been our family ph ysican for multiple generation and he knew every patient on a first name basis along with every member of the family. I have called Dr. Shamblins off office multiple times over the past 3 mo.'s for an appt and "filled out a request form" for approval...NO WORD as of yet. I c alled back today & was told "that gurl that handle that been gone 3 days & I dont know where she at or what she do wit that stuff...call back nxt wk" REALLY? What happened to courtesy& patient satisfaction? If I were this office mgr. this would not happen in my office! I WILL NOT be calling back!!! Hate driving to Birmingham but guess thats my only choice considering what our health community has come to in Tuscaloosa. I only gave 1 star… because there wadnt an option for ZERO!
